These are projects that have been commissioned by people in the past years. I have found that projects done for a specific theme or to create a particular scene are much harder to do and take longer than a other paintings Ive done, creating them as I go. I have done a number of them, but inevitably they take longer.
“Indy” 16″x20″ acrylic on gallery wrap canvas Painted in 2014. A wonderful, wonderful dog Painted for Don & Sharon Grant.
“Taking It Slow” 12″x16″ oil on canvas panel Painted in 2012. A very enjoyable project painted at request of my wife for a gift to an individual who was dear to her at her workplace.
“Peaceful Reflections On A New Day” 24″x36″ oil on gallery wrap canvas Painted in 2011. Interestingly enough, my wife came into the studio and saw what was on the easel, and said, “That one is mine!” …and so it was.
“Jethro” (Fred’s Dog-see blog) 24″x18″ acrylic on gallery wrap canvas. Painted in 2024. Huge doggie who loved to imagine himself as a lap dog. This was done for Fred & Kellie Grant.
“In the Beginning” 48″x24″ Oil on gallery wrap canvas. Painted in 2011 or 2012. Commissioned by Dr Stan Hudson for use in his various creation seminars.
“Eruption of Mount St. Helens Mural” 9’x13′ acrylic on wall. Painted in 2016. Commissioned by the North Pacific Union Conference of SDA (NPUC) for their Creation Study Center. The painting is of Mount St Helens in the first few seconds of it’s eruption on May 18, 1980.
“Seven Days of Creation” A 69″x45″ mixed media, acrylic paint, digital canvas prints on constructed wood support. Hanging in the NPUC Creation Study Center in Ridgefield, WA.

At the other end of the Creation Study Center is a dinosaur mural of a Camarasaurus. To the upper right, mounted on the wall, is the dinosaur head I painted.
Digital repair of the front Elevation of the original Barnes Museum construction drawings. This was a donated project for Friends of the Barnes Foundation. Done in 2011. Created for use on T-Shirts, used in protest to the hijacking of Dr. Albert Barnes art collection.
Once the “Seven Days of Creation” artpiece was finished it had to be assembled and hung on the wall. Here is part of that process.
